Featuring the Dr. No UK quad poster from May 1963 with artwork by American poster artist Mitchell Hooks. The tagline “The first James Bond film!” confidently announces that a series is about to commence, and the use of a painterly artwork style, similar to that used in paperback covers, implies that Dr. No is an escapist fantasy.Â
