That stunning structure, constructed by Pierre Balmain, is considered a mid-century masterpiece—and its unconventional spirit can be seen reflected in the Titan frame’s unique contrast between the curved front and the strict, straight temples, which intricately weave together the finest acetate and titanium from Japan. Pierre Balmain strongly believed that including architectural elements in his designs helped to set apart Balmain, making each creation timeless—and the Titan frame demonstrates the continuing strength of his belief.
